This socket is necessary when rebuilding your split rims. It allows you to undo your existing bolts and torque up your new bolts. This socket locks into the front head of a internal toothed bolt.

12 Point bolts and nuts are most commonly used by OZ Racing. Perfect to split your OZ wheels. Our hardware is 12 Point. We do not sell 10 Point Split Rim Bolts.

SPECS: This socket is a 12 Point 8mm Internal male socket. This socket allows 12 Point internal teeth bolts to be loosened and tightened. They require a 1/2" drive. Manufactured from S2 material with a Chrome Vanadium Socket.

TORQUE: The torque setting for bolts is dependent on the set of wheels you have. The average torque figure for a set of three piece wheels is 22ft/lbs and 15ft/lbs for two piece wheels. We recommend that all split rim wheel rebuilds are done by a professional split rim wheel refurber. Always tighten from the nut end, however we understand that on some wheels this may not be possible.

*Please double check the sizes you need before ordering as we do not accept returns on any bolt or nut orders. Split rim bolt pictured not included.

Great replacement for my damaged rim

I honestly appreciate the team efforts back and forth getting everything suited to fit my concerns. The shipping and packaging was a blast only one thing didn't work well with me as the air valves didn't fit on the newer lip+barrel so I had to look for an alternative. Over all. Smooth trusted transaction.
